LookWMS—The Web Map Client with superior data imaging & interaction

LookWMS by IDELIX is a Web Map Client that implements the OpenGIS® WMS specification and enables users to access geospatial data from WMS servers over the Internet. Some of the interesting features of our client include:

• The ability to access and display information from multiple servers at the same time, for true multi-layer interaction.
• The ability to cache data locally to work off-line when a connection is not available and improve mobile workforce productivity.
• The ability to access GeoTIFF files from your local machine or from a remote server. You can save your GeoTIFF files locally for quick reference in the future.
• Pliable Display Technology (PDT), our patented lens based UI that enables:
• detail-in-context viewing and data interaction.
• the ability to view different layer combinations in a single window with the added benefit of dynamically adjustable transparency for quick comparison of lens to base layer points of interest.
• faster and easier comprehension of high-density data sets by focusing the eye on an area of interest.

Example data sets are included in LookWMS, but feel free to explore other WMS servers that you are aware of. If you know of a great WMS data set that you'd like to share, let us know about it and we will include it on our list.
