How to use the LookLOCAL Firefox® Toolbar

LookLOCAL toolbar for Firefox
To map a single location:
1.Select Search. (This is the default setting).
2. Enter address in the Where field by doing one of the following:
a. Selecting and then right-clicking an address on a webpage; then choosing "LookLOCAL: Set as Where" in the contextual menu,
b. Typing the address directly into the Where field,
c. Clicking the drop-down arrow on the Where field to access the history of your previous searches.
3. Click Go.
4. A new browser tab or window will open with the location mapped in LookLOCAL.
To search for products or services near a location:
1. Enter your search item in the What field. For example "pizza" or "Starbucks".
2. Enter the address or geographic area in the Where field.
3. Click Go.
4. A new browser tab or window will with the location-based search results mapped in LookLOCAL.
To get directions:
1. Select the Directions button.
2. Enter the address in the From field by doing one of the following:
a. Selecting and then right-clicking an address on a webapge; then choosing "LookLOCAL: Set as From" in the contextual menu,
b. Typing the address directly into the From field,
c. Clicking the drop-down arrow on the From field to access the history of your previous searches.
3. Enter the To address using one of the above methods.
4. Click Go.
5. A new Firefox browser tab or window will open with your directions listed and mapped in LookLOCAL.
To Launch LookLOCAL without performing a search:
1. Click the LookLOCAL button.
Options:
1. Click the Info button.
2. Select Options.
3. From the Options window you can:

a. Set your default data provider as Google or Live Search Maps.
b. Choose to save the history of your searches.
c. Clear your search history.
d. Choose to have LookLOCAL launch in a new Firefox window rather than in a new Firefox tab.
